About Us
Heel & Sole Foot & Ankle was founded by Dr. Shayla and Dr. Kayla Robinson, twin sisters. Our practice was built on a shared passion for helping people stay active, mobile, and pain-free. After completing our medical training and advanced surgical education, we returned to East Texas with a common goal: to provide comprehensive, patient-centered foot and ankle care to the community we proudly call home.
As board-qualified podiatrists and active members of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Texas Podiatric Medical Association, we are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care using modern techniques and evidence-based treatments. Whether you’re dealing with heel pain, bunions, diabetic foot concerns, sports injuries, ingrown toenails, or chronic ankle instability, we take the time to listen, evaluate thoroughly, and create personalized treatment plans tailored to your lifestyle and goals.
Being twins gives us a unique advantage in practice—we collaborate closely on complex cases, combining our perspectives to ensure thoughtful, comprehensive care. Patients often tell us they appreciate our approachable nature, clear communication, and the comfortable, family-friendly environment we’ve created.
We proudly serve individuals and families across East Texas, from young athletes to seniors managing long-term conditions. Our mission is simple: to keep our community moving comfortably and confidently with a little “Heel and Sole”.
At our practice, you’re not just a patient—you’re part of our family too. We look forward to helping you take the next step toward healthier feet and a more active life.
